Nick Amwata

Director of Feed the World, Little Syria

In the course of the last 18 years, he has lived and worked as a lecturer, consultant, researcher and humanitarian in Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania and most recently, Iraq and Syria. His most recent assignment was as Program Coordinator for humanitarian programs covering both Iraq and Syria. He was managing all aspects of fundraising and grant management, and clusters such as camp management and camp coordination, livelihoods, food and nutrition, education, water and sanitation, health and wellness.

Enzo Bertucci

Director of Feed the World, Environmental

Enzo was born in Italy and immigrated to Toronto Canada with his family after the second world war. He worked with my father in the construction business in the summers. He studied Electronics in 1957, in 1962 worked for Litton systems for a year then moved on to study motor mechanics, opened a shop ran it for six years and then sold it.

Luis Garcia

Director of Distribution

Luis is a professional in the field of food production and distribution. Luis has worked in challenging markets around the world and track record of building teams and assets internationally and has a strong technical knowledge in food production and distribution.

Barry Nelson

Director Feed the World

Barry has had many careers ranging from being in the trenches with non-glamorous leadership roles. He worked in crippled children camps, taught all levels of special education and cared for over 100 foster children. He retired with 21 years of service with Library Media Director from Wisconsin’s second largest school district. With the years of travel, he truly valued the time most when working with street children with Philanthropy in Brazil.

Jenn Mena-Wenstrom

Director of Little Syria

Her passion for working with underprivileged communities stemmed from life long volunteer work from grant writing for Nepali children’s education, working with refugees in the Denver area. She has a B.A. International Affairs from the University of Colorado

Lucy Wambui Ndung’u

Director of International Relations

She has been a consultant in Peace and Security matters in the East and Central Region of Africa to which she conducted research and security workshops. Additionally, Lucy has been lecturing at universities.  Currently she is offering services to the Dedan Kimathi University of Kenya (Nairobi Campus) in the Department of Criminology.  She is a member of African Women Action on Non-violence and Social Change; Turendi Twa Naani Social Welfare Group.

Jorge Zambrano

Feed the World – Environmental International Relationships

Jorge worked in several areas including: Business Development for software development companies; Consulting for sustainability companies and other businesses looking to strengthen and develop their environmental responsibility efforts; and launched his own consulting business focused on sustainability and energy efficiency practices.
